Day 1-2: Most travellers land at Dubai International Airport. Once you’ve settled in at your hotel, get out and explore all that this bustling city has to offer. The iconic Burj Al Arab should be one of your first stops. If you’re not scared of heights, venture up to one of the world’s highest observation towers at Burj Khalifa.
Day 3-4: Rent a car and take a short drive north to the city of Sharjah, the cultural and historical heart of the United Arab Emirates. Must-see sights here include the Sharjah Heritage Museum and Mleiha Archaeological Centre. After you’re done checking out those, take a stroll along Al Majaz Waterfront and find something to eat.
Day 5-6: Don’t head home without checking out Abu Dhabi. Explore the jaw-dropping collection at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, kick back on the beach at Saadiyat Island and visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, the country’s largest mosque.
